Sally Ball

Director

The company was founded by Director Sally Ball. Sally has over 30 years experience in the event and hospitality industry. Having previous experience in the airline industry and leaving at a senior level, this was the start of a new chapter.

Sally has managed a variety of corporate sporting events at Twickenham, Lords, The Oval and Open Golf tournaments. She has worked on the prestigious EBRD in cities around Eastern Europe as well as Staffing the Ryder Cup at Belfry providing VIP Hospitality. All dealt with the skill and satisfaction of the clients that has come synonymous with SBEM.

A few of Sally’s greatest achievements to date have been project managing two contracts at the 2012 London Olympics: Cisco House & Panasonic 3D HD Theatre. Becoming an Official staffing supplier at ExCel London and keeping strong ties with all her clients that she has built up through the years. With Sally’s level of expertise and knowledge she has created a company and given it the best possible platform to progress, adapt and grow in the Events World.

When asked how she manages to achieve such high standards and both use her skill set to succeed as well as impart knowledge onto the staff, she simply replies….”I love my job”

Myles Ball

Account Manager

In 2008 Myles embarked on his events journey, working on various campaigns and sporting events for a number of agencies around the UK and abroad. He enjoyed the freedom self-employment gave but decided to give a 9-5 office job a go. He worked for an investment company for 2 and a half years where he learnt new skills and improved on old ones but something was missing. He missed the buzz and variety the events industry. A change was needed…

He began working full time for SBEM in June 2014 in administration and has steadily progressed upwards to Account Manager. He manages all the staffing requirements on the events that we support. Although he is still behind a desk for a majority of the day, he goes onsite for large events and the sunny ones abroad!

Outside the work hours Myles is a keen photographer and rugby player. He enjoys a challenge and pushing himself to the limit.
